The Waverley is our home and a great place for adults to relax and quietly enjoy a great nights sleep & traditional breakfast. For these reasons babies and children cannot be accommodated, nor can we facilitate those with pets, so sadly, no dogs! We also discourage hen and stag parties so, single sex parties of more than 3 people are not accepted and we reserve the right to refuse such bookings made online.

Walking parties are a specialty. We are able to configure rooms differently for those who wish to base themselves in our area whilst walking and we offer a packed lunch service for your convenience. We are only able to offer flexibility for those who book directly by telephone.

Cancellations
We understand that this is sometimes necessary. If you have booked using an online booking agent (Booking.com) then you must cancel through their porthole. We are not allowed to cancel on your behalf and you will be bound by their cancellation policy.
For bookings taken by phone directly with us, we seldom take deposits and all we ask is that you phone us as soon as you find that you are unable to visit. This then enables us to re advertise your accommodation. Hopefully we will see you another time.
